Great Start to the Short Play Festival Rehearsals!
A huge congratulations to everyone involved in Sunday’s rehearsal. It was fantastic to see the energy, enthusiasm, and commitment from our cast as we began bringing these eight wonderful plays to life.
Thank you all for your hard work and willingness to jump in and support one another. We’re off to a great start!
Just some friendly reminders:
* As we move forward, these performances will be in front of a live audience, so don’t be afraid to project. Nice, loud voices will help ensure every joke, every line, and every moment reaches the back row of the De Luxe Theatre.
* Keep learning those lines, and most importantly, keep having fun. We can’t wait to share this year’s Short Play Festival with our community in August.
* Rehearsals again this Sunday from 2pm to 4pm. We will be repeating what we did last Sunday. After that, the following Sunday we will start to get on stage and move around.
* I will be going through the rehearsal schedule this Sunday.
